Alaska is one of the most amazing places on earth. In the summer, it can be both freezing and warm and sunny in the same week. Glaciers of amazing magnitude abound.
I have done several seasons in Alaska, cruising up and down the inside passage. The weather can be a crapshoot. You never know, one week to the next, one season to another, if you're going to get sunny skies or rainy clouds. Either way, it's a wonderful adventure (although I do find Alaska more devastatingly beautiful when the weather is clear). Here are some of my favorite memories....
